How to Install the NeverFall Undermount Sink Repair Kit
The NeverFall Sink Repair Kit lifts and re-secures a sagging or separated undermount sink without removing the countertop or drilling into it. Two turnbuckle supports lift the sink from the sides, and a front center support holds the middle. Installation takes about 30 minutes, plus 24 hours for the silicone to cure.

Before You Start
- ⚠ Turn the turnbuckles by hand only. The lock nuts are the only parts that get a wrench.
- ⚠ Overtightening the turnbuckles or pushing the front support too hard can lift and damage the countertop.
Installation Steps
Step 1: Prepare the sink and cabinet
- Remove everything from the sink and the cabinet underneath. You need clear access to the cabinet side walls and the underside of the sink.
- Wipe the top of the sink lip and the underside of the countertop with rubbing alcohol.
- Let both surfaces dry completely. Silicone will not bond to grease or moisture.
You'll supply: 100% silicone sealant (kitchen and bath), caulk gun, rubbing alcohol, clean rags
Step 2: Fit the Turnbuckle to the Sink
- If needed, shorten the turnbuckle: turn the center shaft by hand until both ends draw in as far as they go. (Some turnbuckles ship pre-shortened — if yours is already short, skip this.) If the turnbuckle gets longer, turn the other way.
- The head of each turnbuckle is self-leveling. Fit the turnbuckle head underneath the sink lip (the flange around the sink's outer edge) so the bracket supports the sink from below. The head bracket pivots to level itself against the lip. Repeat on the right side with the second turnbuckle.
One bracket replaces two clips. Undermount sinks are held up by clips screwed into the underside of the countertop. When those clips fail, the sink drops. Each NeverFall double-headed bracket replaces two original clips and supports the sink from beneath, with no drilling into your countertop.
Step 3: Mark and Mount the Wall Bracket
- Swing the wall bracket (the bottom of the turnbuckle) flat against the cabinet side wall. The turnbuckle pivots at the wall bracket, so it is normal for it to sit at an angle. Mark the side and bottom edges of the wall bracket with a pencil. Then use a level to draw a vertical (plumb) line along the side mark.
- Peel the backing off the double-sided tape on the back of the turnbuckle base. The tape holds the bracket in place temporarily for easy, hands-free positioning. Press the bracket against the cabinet wall, lining its edge up with the plumb line and bottom mark, then drive in four 5/8" pan head screws. No pilot holes needed. Repeat on the other side.
The wall bracket must be mounted plumb (perfectly vertical). The turnbuckle itself can sit at an angle.
How the turnbuckle works: The bottom end (at the wall bracket) has standard threads, and the top end (at the sink bracket) has reverse threads. Turning the center shaft extends or retracts both ends at once.
Tools: pencil, level, drill or Phillips screwdriver
Step 4: Apply silicone
From above, apply a continuous bead of 100% silicone sealant (kitchen and bath) into the gap between the sink and the countertop, only where the sink has separated.
Tools: caulk gun, 100% silicone sealant (kitchen and bath)
Step 5: Raise the sink
Turn the center shaft of each turnbuckle by hand, in the opposite direction from Step 2, so it lengthens. Snug both sides until the sink brackets press firmly against the sink lip. Then raise the sink by alternating a few turns on each side. Keep turning until the sink presses against the countertop and silicone begins to squeeze out of the gap. Wait a few seconds, then turn each side about 1/4 turn more to seal it firmly.
Step 6: Lock it in place
Use a wrench to tighten the lock nut at the bottom of each turnbuckle against the shaft. The lock nut is the only part that gets a wrench.
Tools: wrench
Step 7: Install the front center support
Face-frame cabinets only. If your cabinet has no front frame, skip to Step 8. The two turnbuckles will still support the sink.
- Peel the backing off the double-sided tape on the repair clip. Press it onto the back of the cabinet's upper front frame, centered under the sink. Secure it with the two 3/8" pan head screws.
- Slide the top of the NeverFall Short-Arm Undermount Sink Bracket track into the repair clip. Secure the bottom of the track with one 5/8" pan head screw through the bottom mounting hole.
- Push the push tab upward to slide the sled up the track until the arm meets the sink lip from underneath. The sled locks automatically as it moves up. Space is tight, so a screwdriver or other long tool works best for pushing; your hand also works.
Step 8: Let it cure
Let the silicone cure for 24 hours, or as long as your sealant label says, whichever is longer, before using the sink.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I fix an undermount sink that is falling without removing the countertop?
Install the NeverFall kit. It lifts the sink back into place from inside the cabinet in about 30 minutes, with no countertop removal or drilling.
Will it work on my sink?
Yes. It works on all undermount sinks and all countertop types.
How many kits do I need?
One kit per sink.
Does it work with frameless cabinets?
Yes. The two turnbuckles support the sink on their own. The front center support requires a face-frame cabinet.
Do I need to disconnect the plumbing?
No.
Will it rust under my sink?
The parts are zinc electroplated to resist rust.
Do I need special tools?
No. A drill or screwdriver, a level, a pencil, a caulk gun, and a wrench for the lock nuts.
What sealant should I use?
100% silicone, kitchen and bath. Acrylic or latex caulk will not hold.
How long before I can use the sink?
24 hours, or as long as your sealant label says, whichever is longer.
